What Is The No Frills Price Match Policy?

There are lots of stores that price match in Canada but when it comes to a flawless price-match deal, No Frills is one of the best out there. Did you know that almost 80% of Canadian shoppers study flyers, promotions, and discounts before shopping trips?

The same 80% of consumers do online price comparisons in all categories before making a purchase decision in a physical location according to a study by Market Track. Even if they eventually make the final purchase in a store, they still make their research first, I mean to say price match before buying anything.

Prices are always changing in the competitive retail field, especially during the holiday seasons, and the truth is told, it can be very frustrating. Getting the right prices when shopping then becomes a shopper’s topmost priority and that is why a lot of Canadians result in price matching.

Focusing on great meat and produce, commitment to the community, and trusted low prices, No Frills offers something extraordinary that is worth considering.

What Is A Price Match Policy?

Price matching is a shopping policy where a retailer agrees to match the price of a competitor and this can be done through various mediums like advertisements, flyers, and so on.

For example, a company will allow you to present a competitor’s ad (with a lower price) and then beat that competitor’s price provided you abide by every rule of the company.

How Does The No Frills Price Match Policy Work?

Like every shopping price match policy, No Frills does the price match too. However, there are ways around it to make it work for you.

Here’s the No Frills Price Match Policy:

  • No Frills will match the competitor’s price only during the effective date of the competitor’s advertisement or within 7 days of the date of the receipt

  • Item must be of the same brand, size, and attributes. Say you wish to buy a pair of brown boots from a No Frills store and you find the same-brand boots in black for a better price at another retail store. If No Frills doesn’t carry the boots in brown, you probably won’t get a price match

  • For produce, meat, and bakery items, No Frills reserves the right to determine a comparable item

  • “Geographical trade areas” and “major competitors” are determined solely by No Frills and are based on a number of factors, which can change from time to time

  • Excludes multi-buys; All discounts obtained through loyalty programs, for instance, buying a can of avocado oil at No Frills, you then find the same item at the same price, but offered with an extra can, at a competitor retail store

If No Frills does not allow bundled offers, don’t bother trying to convince them otherwise accept your cross and move on.

  • Custom-made items and refurbished items. Second-hand, used, pre-owned items are definitely not permitted. Only goods that are new are mostly put into consideration

  • Products must be in stock at both places. You can’t price match without being sure the commodity is carried by both stores.

  • There’s a limit on the number of goods to be bought on each order. No Frills allow a maximum of 4 items per order for every item you wish to price match
